Not only did my family and I go on vacation, but there was a little stowaway in my bag! None other than the (in)famous Trevor Belmont (a.k.a. Richard Armitage’s character in Castlevania).
He set himself to guarding the fruit after our initial grocery run.
But he soon decided that his awesomeness would look better with the lake view as a background.
The next day, he wasn’t so sure about the beach area and so he approached with extreme stealth and caution.
Soon, though, he settled into the beach vibe, but not before first arming himself with something that looked suspiciously like an oakenshield. (Trevor is a little vain and requested a filter here, so I “intentionally” smeared sunscreen on the lens.)
He even took a dip in the lake (once I finally braved the laughter of my family)!
Trevor was nice enough to show his appreciation for being included in our family vacation.
But by the end of the day, he had reverted to form and had a lovely sleep on the dining room table.
that last picture is fantastic. Exactly why I don’t let him out of the box often 🙂

Lol. Thanks. I had to sacrifice and drink some wine first.

well, there’s drowning your sorrows and drowning your sorrows — I’m sure the guy’s a big drinker but could he drink his entire body volume in wine? You saved him to live to drink another day.

lol… yes it’s a mighty big glass for a little guy. (We left him at home when we went wine tasting today!)

Lol. Thank you. He is very demanding (and my family think I am insane), but someone has to do it!

that pic of him with his small head in that wine glass is priceless!! and Trevor dipping his toes in the sand and water just sweet. My John Wick came with me to NYC in June not quite as adventurous as Trevor’s time but he mingled in Central Park and had lunch w me outside of NYC Public Library!!

Sue yeah I haven’t figured a clever blog post yet on John Wick Pop Funko. Still working on it. I’m not all that funny where I could make it adorable and sweet like you did with Trevor and multidimensional but still working on it.

For sure! On August 24, 2017, she wrote: “Squirrel in the steps of Richard Armitage and the Pilgrimage crew
Squirrel and her family took one for the team on their recent family vacation! Check out her story.”

I’ve never heard of that Thorin. I looked him up on line… he’s so cute!

Squirrel yeah know chiming in here I would get Thorin Pop Funko but they run well over $100 (US) now so I am asking my brother for Thorin for Cmas so next year in London he will be as active as Sue’s Trevor and John Wick will have a mate to take selfies with..

If you were upset, you would relax by squeezing or stroking him. A perfectly good advice, that came from Servetus, who leads me to buy him…He is so soft…
Vintage or on sale “Warner Bros – The Hobbit- Thorin Oakenshield 10″ Plush Figure” costs only
£17.99

Yes, my husband didn’t even want Trevor to come on vacation with us! Just didn’t get it. I think he saw the humour in it in the end! At my expense, as you say.

Lol. That’s me really late to the party. Nice travel companion you had! BtW he moved in to our household recently though my family had their concerns too. And he’s still in his box. For his own safety and to prove my sanity. But gradually they’ll get accustomed to him. 😂😂
Lovely photos! Thanks for sharing!

Never too late! Keeping him in his box might be wise, especially if he’s anywhere near the liquor cabinet! Lol. Hope he successfully integrates into your family! Glad you enjoyed the post.
