LOL. Although sometimes I think merchants plan this stuff. Last week after I mentioned my shoes on your website, FB started showing me ads for Doc Martens, and it’s not uncommon for me, if I say I really despise something on FB, to start seeing ads for it almost immediately.
Hope your toes are continuing to feel better.

This is actually marketing from the doctor who’s treating your foot. He figures you could stub your other little toe, too. (Well, it would be in the US, anyway).

You never know! I find it really creepy, though, that we are all being monitored for marketing purposes. It gives them really valuable information for marketing, but it really feels like an invasion of privacy.

I’m slightly less bothered by the marketers (although I despise that) than by the government / government access to the info. The US has horrible privacy laws.

Privacy laws in BC require that our company data is stored only in Canada, which is tough. A lot of the providers (Microsoft etc) store their data in the US.
