With so many people sharing pictures of women and men uniting in the spirit of the Women’s March this weekend, I wanted to share what I saw when I went in to buy my groceries today.
Pepsi, the NFL, and Safeway Canada (the latter now Canadian and independent of the U.S. company) are using a cardboard cut-out of barely covered young women (with football player) to sell soft-drinks and football to shoppers.
I did not consume either product today.
Update: I am very pleased to report that my local Safeway has now removed the cardboard figures. Sometimes complaining does work.
Uch!

They really must think consumers are dumb.

I complained, but I doubt it will have any impact.

I agree. However I admit to being more of a Coke girl. Cue the jingle…
